A recent study by Lopes et al (2019) shows that supplementation of in vitro maturation medum with bovine follicular fluid (NaturARTs COW BFF) improves in vitro embryo production compared to the standard supplementation with fetal bovine serum (FBS). Specifically, in vitro matured cumulus-oocyte complexes display a higher cumulus expansion rate and there is a faster development of embryos with a higher number of cells per blastocyst.
